Our Accreditation
Accreditation provides the industry with assurance that the services rendered by accredited organizations are of good quality and have been evaluated and proven. Accreditation is the foundation of a testing laboratory’s and inspections agency’s operation. It establishes an organization’s competency in areas of technical expertise, management systems, traceability to standard reference material, and quality systems.
R&D Services is an accredited testing laboratory for thermal insulation materials by the International Accreditation Service (IAS TL-566). Under this accreditation, R&D Services must meet the requirements of the international standard: “ISO/IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.” IAS is a signatory of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). This means that governments and accreditation bodies throughout the world accept our test reports, making a test report from R&D Services more effective for our clients in the marketplace.

R&D offers product listings too! This means that your product has been evaluated according to a standard or set of standards and meets the requirements of that standard. The listed product is evaluated on an ongoing basis to ensure consistent quality of the product. Product listings also have the ability use the R&D Services Listed logo to demonstrate product compliance to the public, certification agencies, or other authorities.
